May 9, 2014 Civil Defence, Disaster Management awareness training prog meet held

JAMMU:  As desired by the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, a meeting was organised at Regional Civil Defence Control Centre with regard to Civil Defence (CD) and Disaster Management awareness training for Home guards, NYK, District officials, NCC/NSS Cadets.
The meeting was arranged by the Deputy Controller CD Tajinder Kour under the Chairmanship of Col. J.R. Kaushik Sr. Specialist from MDMA, MHA New Delhi and close supervision of Ms D.R. Doley Burman, IPS, ADGP HG/CD and SDRF J and K.
Two-day Civil Defence Training awareness programme which was conducted by the NDMA along with NDRF teams today on the above topic.
